About Us
Our blueberry farm has been selected as the most succesful organic producer by ETO and FIBL - Swiss Research Institute of Agriculture. Berva, which was initially established on 50 acres of land in 2009, was expanded to 100 acres of land in three years and has become one of the largest producers of blueberries growing in Turkey, with 16.000 saplings. Our Varieties
All of our varieties are north origin (Vaccinium corymbosum), high-bush form blueberries, which are more resistant to cold winter than the other sorts of blueberries. Climate of the region is very similar to Eastern Black Sea climate with cold winters and because of this property it is appropriate for our varieties. According to this climatic conditions the harvest begins in mid-July and continues to mid-September. Additionally the soil has an acidic functionality.
